I Am Become Death

Original oil painting of Death. The skulls are made using printmaking techniques into oil paint, showcasing the acrylic washes underneath. By also applying the printmaking with oil (versus removing the oil paint), there are more subtle skulls created through texture.
Painting measures 24" x 30" and is Oil on gessoed board. Painting is offered framed.
Frame is a custom handmade gilded frame made from bass wood. The frame features a Gold leaf lining and was made for this painting by PS Art Frames, Rhode Island.
